Frameet

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what information Frameet collects, why, and what you can do about it. We try to collect only what the Service needs to work. Frameet is in beta, so this policy will grow as the Service does, and we’ll update the date above when it changes.

1. What we collect

When you use Frameet, we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
  • Profile content: anything you add to your profile or listing: bio, photos, packages, studio details, city, and so on.
  • Bookings and messages: booking requests and the messages you exchange with other users through the Service.
  • Reviews: reviews you write or receive.
  • Sign-in data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google to create or link your account. We don’t see your Google password.
  • Basic technical data: standard information your browser sends, used to keep the Service running and secure.

We don’t collect payment information, because Frameet doesn’t process payments.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to run the Service: to create your account, show your profile to the people it’s meant for, let clients and photographers find and message each other, handle booking requests, display reviews, send you necessary emails (like account confirmation and booking updates), and keep Frameet safe. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t show third-party ads.

3. What other users see

Frameet is a marketplace, so some information is meant to be public. Photographer and studio profiles (including name, photos, and details) are visible to people browsing the Service. Reviews are shown with the reviewer’s first name and last initial. Messages are visible only to you and the person you’re talking with. Your email and password are never shown to other users.

4. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Frameet, and share only what each needs to do its job:

  • Cloudinary: stores and serves the images you upload.
  • SendGrid: delivers transactional emails (confirmations, booking updates).
  • Google: handles sign-in, if you choose to use it.
  • Microsoft Azure: hosts the Service and its database.
  • Anthropic: when you use natural-language search, the words you type in the search box are sent to Anthropic’s API to interpret them. We don’t send your identity with the query.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

5. Keeping your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward where we need to, for example to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. When you close your account, we remove or anonymise your personal information, except where we’re required to keep some of it.

6. Your choices

You can view and update most of your information from your account settings at any time. You can close your account whenever you like. If you’d like a copy of your data or want it deleted, contact us and we’ll help. We keep the data we hold limited by default, so there usually isn’t much beyond what you can already see in your account.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information: passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and access is limited. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your data safe and to fix problems quickly if they arise.

8. Children

Frameet isn’t intended for children. You should be old enough to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you before using the Service.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as Frameet evolves. We’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do, and for significant changes we’ll do our best to let you know.
